3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. water

Mix together flour, salt and soda; set aside. Cream together remaining ingredients; add sifted mixture. Chill dough 2 hours. Make walnut-size ball and wrap around candy kisses, dates or nuts. Bake in 350 degree oven for 15 minutes.
