TURTLE COOKIES 
2 c. flour
1 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. pecans
2/3 c. butter
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 c. chocolate chips

Combine flour, 1 cup sugar and 1/2 cup butter and mix until particles are fine. Pat into 9x13x2 inch pan, sprinkle with pecans and press lightly.

In saucepan, combine 2/3 cup butter and 1/2 cup sugar. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture begins to boil. Boil 1 minute. Pour mixture over pecans and crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 18 to 22 minutes.

Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips. Spread chocolate as chips melt. Cool completely and cut into desired size.
