BEEF STROGANOFF (MICROWAVE) 
1 1/2 c. fresh sliced mushrooms
1 med. onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tbsp. butter
1 lb. boneless beef sirloin steak, 1/2" thick
3 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. hot water
1 tbsp. catsup
2 tsp. instant beef bouillon
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 c. dairy sour cream

Cut steak across grain into strips.

Combine mushrooms, onions, garlic and butter in 2 quart casserole. Cover. Microwave at high (100%) until mushrooms and onions are tender, 2 to 4 minutes.

Shake beef, flour, salt and pepper in plastic bag until beef is coated. Stir beef and remaining ingredients except sour cream into vegetable mix. Microwave, covered at High 5 minutes. Reduce power to medium high. Microwave until beef is tender, 20 to 30 minutes, stirring after half the cooking time. Let stand 10 to 15 minutes. Stir in sour cream until blended.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
