PARVE CHOPPED LIVER 
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1 lb. sliced mushrooms
1 hard boiled egg
1 med. onion, chopped
Salt, pepper, garlic and parsley, to taste
Dash of lemon juice or dry white wine

Saute onions and mushrooms until tender. Cool. Place all ingredients in food processor and chop until mixture is smooth. Chill before serving. Serve on crackers or as a salad on lettuce.
