JEWISH APPLE CAKE 
APPLE MIXTURE:

2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
5 tbsp. granulated sugar
3 lg. apples, sliced thin

DRY INGREDIENTS:

3 c. unsifted flour
2 c. granulated sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
4 eggs
1 c. oil
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. orange juice

Mix these ingredients until well mixed. Then alternate batter and apples mixture in layers in Bundt pan, beginning and ending with batter mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour 10 minutes. Cool 15 minutes before removing from pan.
