7-LAYER SALAD 
1/2 head lettuce
2 cans small peas
1 med. red onion, chopped
2 c. celery, chopped
2 c. mayonnaise
2 tsp. sugar
Bacon
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

In large salad bowl (preferably glass) put first 4 ingredients in layers. Mix mayonnaise and sugar, put on top of vegetables. Put cheese on top of this and top with bacon.

For variation: You can substitute any of the vegetable layers.
