1 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 1/2 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. nuts

Cream together first 5 ingredients. Add flour, salt, soda, mixing well, then add oatmeal and nuts. Roll into 2 rolls and wrap in wax paper. Chill and slice on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.
