CHILI BEANS | |
1 lb. ground beef (or more) Brown the ground beef and add garlic, salt and pepper to taste. Pour off grease. Combine meat in large pot with the following: 1 lg. green pepper, chopped 1 lg. onion, chopped 1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans, not drained 1 (15 oz.) can pinto, or pork and beans, not drained 2 (8 oz.) tomato sauce (or) 1 (8 oz.) tomato paste 1 (15 oz.) can whole tomatoes 3 tbsp. chili powder (less if you don't like it hot) Simmer 30 minutes. Ready to eat! |
