DARK BREAD 
2 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. warm water
2 c. warm water
3 tbsp. shortening
1/2 c. molasses
1 tbsp. salt
2 c. oatmeal
5-6 c. flour

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add rest of ingredients. Mix, knead well. Let rise twice, then shape into 2 loaves. Let rise again. Bake 10 minutes at 400 degrees, then 30 minutes at 375 degrees.
