POUND CAKE 
1/2 lb. butter (2 sticks)
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 c. cake flour (Soft as Silk or Swans Down)
1/2 pt. whipping cream
1 tbsp. vanilla

Mix softened butter with sugar. Add 1 egg at a time, mixing well after each egg. Alternate adding cake flour and whipping cream (do not whip, just pour from carton). Add vanilla. Pour into greased Bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, then at 325 degrees for approximately 30 minutes or until done.
