VANILLA BUTTER FROSTING 
1 1/2 c. milk
6 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla

Blend milk and flour until smooth. Cook, stirring constantly, until thick and smooth. Cool.

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add milk-flour mixture, vanilla, and food coloring and beat until smooth with an electric mixer.
