CHRISTMAS DIVINITY 
3 c. sugar
3/4 c. light corn syrup
3/4 c. water
2 egg whites
1 sm. pkg. wild strawberry Jello
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. coconut
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix sugar, syrup, and water in a saucepan. Cook to boiling point, reduce heat and continue cooking, stirring frequently until a few drops tested in cold water form a hard ball.

While syrup cooks, beat egg whites until they begin to fluff up. Gradually beat in the Jello and continue beating until mixture holds definite points. Gradually pour syrup into egg whites, beating constantly. When it begins to thicken a little, add nuts, coconut, and vanilla. Continue to beat until thick enough. Pour onto buttered pan. Cool and cut.
