24 HOUR DESSERT SALAD 
1 egg
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. sugar
Pinch salt
1/2 c. heavy cream, whipped
1 c. drained chunk pineapple
1 c. mandarin oranges
1 c. fruit cocktail
1/2 c. toasted slivered almonds

In double boiler, beat egg with fork. Stir in lemon juice, sugar and salt. Cook over hot water, stirring 5 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat, cool. Fold in cream and well drained fruits. Refrigerate overnight. To serve fold in almonds.
