ICE BOX PIE CRUST 
4 1/2 c. self rising flour
1 1/2 c. lard
3 tbsp. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp. lemon juice

Stir together flour and sugar. Cut lard into flour with pastry cutter or two knifes. Add beaten egg and lemon juice, enough water to make stiff dough. Wrap in wax paper and refrigerate or roll crust. Put in pans and freeze. Make three 2 crust pies.

I freeze my crust.
