GOLDEN GLOW PICKLES 
12 ripe cucumbers
3 lbs. onions
4 red sweet peppers
1 hot red pepper
1/2 c. salt
3 c. sugar
1 qt. vinegar
2 tsp. turmeric
2 tsp. mustard seed

Remove seeds from cucumbers. Chop all vegetables into small pieces, you can use a food processor. Mix with salt. Let set in a large container several hours or overnight. Drain well and rinse. Add sugar, vinegar, turmeric and mustard seed. Mix well. Cook over medium heat until cucumbers are clear. Seal in jars.
