DEVIL DOGS 
COOKIES:

1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
2 c. flour
1 c. cocoa
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk

FILLING:

2/3 c. confectioners' sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. milk
1/2 jar marshmallow fluff

Cream butter and sugar together. Add all other ingredients for cookies and mix well. Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheets and bake at 400 degrees for 7 to 8 minutes.

Mix together all ingredients for filling. When cookies are cool, spread with filling and top with another cookie. Makes about 2 dozen Devil Dogs.
