1 box yellow or lemon supreme cake mix
4 eggs, divided
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. finely chopped coconut
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 (16 oz.) box confectioners sugar

Thoroughly blend cake mix, 1 egg, and butter. Spread in greased 13 x 9 x 2 pan; smooth with spatula. Blend 3 eggs, cream cheese, and sugar. Stir in coconut and/or nuts, if desired.

Pour over cake mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes. Cool before cutting.
