B J'S "ONO" (DELICIOUS) CHEESE
DIP
 
1 sm. onion
2 tbsp. butter
1 (16 oz.) can diced tomatoes
1 (16 oz.) bar Velveeta Mexican mild cheese
3/4 lb. cooked, drained hamburger
1 bag tortilla or Chi Chi chips

In saucepan or covered in microwave, saute until soft but not brown, 1 small onion diced in 2 tablespoons butter.

In another saucepan, brown 3/4 pound of hamburger. Cook until done and drain. Drain 1 (16 oz.) can diced tomatoes. Add tomatoes to onion mixture. Discard juice.

Cut up 1 (16 oz.) bar Velveeta Mexican mild cheese. Add to tomato and onion mixture and simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally until melted. In microwave, put on medium power about 6 minutes, stirring until melted.

Add 3/4 pound of drained hamburger. Heat thoroughly for 2 minutes in microwave. Serve warm with tortilla or Chi Chi chips.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
