2 lb. hamburger
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. chopped onion
Little less than 1 c. milk
1 c. bread crumbs

Mix together. Make patties and brown in skillet.

SAUCE:

1/2 c. onion
1 c. tomato paste
1 tbsp. pickle relish
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. vinegar
1 c. water

Cook together. Pour over hamburgers and bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Baste.
