RUM CAKE 
1 box butter cake mix
1 sm. pkg. vanilla pudding mix
4 eggs
1/2 c. light rum
1/2 c. cooking oil
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour tube pan. Sprinkle pecans in bottom of pan. Mix and pour cake mix into pan. Drop pan on counter to get air bubbles out. Bake 1 hour. Remove from oven and pour rum glaze over warm cake.

RUM GLAZE:

1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. rum
1/4 c. water

Boil for 2-3 minutes. The secret to the cake is removing the air bubbles.
