APPLE CRISP 
4 c. thinly sliced apples
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. cinnamon

TOPPING:

3/4 c. quick oatmeal
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. butter

Mix first 5 ingredients as for pie filling and put in a greased 9 inch square pan.

To prepare topping cut butter into the flour, brown sugar and oatmeal. Pour topping over the filling and bake for 45 minutes in a 350 degree oven or until apples are tender.
