MAGIC COBBLER 
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 stick butter
1 c. milk
2 cans peaches (or other fruit)
2 c. peach juice
1/2 c. sugar

Melt 1 stick butter, add 1 cup milk to butter. Gradually add milk and butter to flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Pour into a greased Dutch oven.

Drain peaches, saving juice. Place 2 cans peaches on top of batter.

Sprinkle 1/2 cup sugar over peaches. Pour 2 cups peach juice and 1 cup water over peaches.

Bake for about 40 minutes at 350°F.
