1 Betty Crocker super moist cake mix
1 lg. can crushed pineapple
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 sm. pkg. instant vanilla pudding
1/2 c. cherries, chopped or sliced
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 tub Cool Whip
Coconut, shredded (optional)

Bake cake as directed on package. Bring crushed pineapple and sugar to a simmer, 2 minutes. Pour over cake, right out of oven. Let cool completely. Mix instant pudding. Spread over cooled cake. Top with Cool Whip. Sprinkle with cherries, nuts and coconut.

You will need these ingredients to prepare cake (3 eggs, water and oil).

Four cups cold milk will be needed for pudding.
