MICROWAVE MARSHMALLOW CRISP

1/4 c. butter
1 pkg. miniature marshmallows
5 c. crispy rice cereal

In 3 quart casserole place butter. Microwave at high 1 minute to melt. Add marshmallows. Cover. Microwave at high 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from oven and stir until butter is melted and marshmallows are well blended. Add cereal. Stir until well coated. Press warm mixture evenly and firmly into lightly buttered 12 x 8 x 2 inch dish. Use wax paper or buttered spatula to press firmly into an even layer. Cool, cut into squares. Makes 24 (2 inch) squares.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
