1 lb. can crushed pineapple
1 can cherry pie filling
1 box yellow cake mix
1 stick butter

Pour canned pineapple (undrained) into 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Add cherry pie filling and stir together. Sprinkle box of yellow cake mix on top. Do not stir. Cut up butter and lay on top. Bake at 350 degrees until done. Serve hot with vanilla ice cream on top if desired.
