BEEF STEW WITH DUMPLINGS 
2-3 lb. stew meat
1 pkg. carrots
3 c. celery
1 lg. onion
1 beef bouillon cubes
Salt & pepper
Garlic powder
1 head of cabbage
6 or 8 med. potatoes
1 c. flour
1/3 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. melted fat or oil
1/2 c. milk

Brown meat in large skillet until brown; then cover meat with water, cook meat in water for 1 hour. Then put in cut up carrots, cut up celery, cut up cabbage, cut up onion, cut up potatoes, seasoned with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Cook for about 4 hours, or until done. Then drop by spoonful the dumpling mix on top of the stew. Cook until they are done, about 10 minutes.
