DOG BISCUITS 
2 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 c. non-fat dry milk (powdered)
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
6 tbsp. butter
1 egg

Mix ingredients with 1/2 cup cold water, knead for 3 minutes. (Add more water if necessary.) Form dough into balls. Roll to 1/2 inch thick and cut into dog bones. Bake on lightly greased sheet for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

Interesting variation: Add 3 tbsp. of powdered liver or powdered chicken or beef bouillon.
