FRUITY PINEAPPLE CAKE 
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 3/4 c. warm pineapple juice
2 tbsp. yeast
2 tbsp. oil
3 c. raisins
1/2 c. honey
1 3/4 c. dates, chopped
1 c. bananas
1 c. stemmed apples
1/2 c. almonds, chopped
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
1 3/4 c. whole wheat flour
1 c. white flour

Dissolve yeast in warm juice. Drain pineapple. Pare, slice and steam apples. Add all to yeast mixture. Let stand 20 minutes. Spread in two coated pans. Let rise until double (1 1/2 hours). Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour. Cool. Split each layer. Use Orange-Pineapple Frosting.
