1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1 egg, beat separately
1/3 tsp. salt
1/3 tsp. nutmeg
1 heaping tsp. baking powder

Drop teaspoons of batter in hot fat and doughnuts will come in round balls.
