BREAD PUDDING 
6 or 7 biscuits
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1/4 c. sugar
2 1/4 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla or cinnamon and nutmeg
Raisins (optional)

Butter inside of a 1 1/2 quart casserole. Cut biscuits in slices and arrange in layers in casserole. Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg or vanilla. If desired, raisins may be mixed with bread. Combine sugar, salt, milk and eggs; pour over bread layers. Bake in a moderate 350 degree oven for about 1 hour or until done. Knife inserted will come out clean when pudding is done.
