1 1/3 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
1 c. M&M'S® (reserve 1/2 c.)
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix brown sugar, butter, vanilla and eggs in bowl until blended. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls 3 inches apart onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Press 3 additional candies into each cookie. Bake until light brown, 10-12 minutes. Cool slightly, remove to wire rack. Makes 2 1/2 to 3 dozen cookies.
