1 egg white
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. sugar

Mix ingredients in a small deep bowl. Add the boiling water and beat until stiff. The recipe makes a fluffy frosting that stays moist for 2 or 3 days.
