CRESCENT-ROLL CALZONES 
1/2 lb. ground beef or ground pork
1/2 c. pizza sauce
1 (pkg.) 8 refrigerator crescent rolls
1 (4 oz.) pkg. (1 c.) shredded Mozzarella cheese

In a medium skillet cook beef until brown. Drain off fat. Stir in pizza sauce.

Meanwhile, separate crescent rolls into 4 rectangles. Pinch perforations to seal. On a floured surface roll each rectangle into a 7 x 5-inch rectangle. Spoon 1/4 of the meat mixture onto half of each rectangle. Sprinkle with cheese. Fold rectangles in half.

Press edges to seal. Flute edges, if desired. Place calzones on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 4 servings.
