1 pkg. German choc. cake mix 1 stick butter 1 sm. can evap. milk 1 lg. pkg. caramels 6 oz. choc. chips Mix butter, 1/3 cup milk and cake mix. Pat 1/2 of batter in greased pan. Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Mix caramels and 1/3 cup milk. Pour over baked batter and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Pat 1/2 batter into a thin layer, put on top. Bake 18 to 20 minutes more. Cool and refrigerate. |
