ROLL DOUGH 
2 c. boiling water
1/2 c. sugar
7 c. flour
1 tbsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
2 pkgs. dry yeast
2 eggs

Pour 2 cups boiling water over the sugar, shortening and salt. Let cool and add the yeast and eggs. Stir in the flour to make a good mixture. Beat well. Turn out onto a floured surface and knead for 3 to 5 minutes. Add the rest of the flour while kneading; cover and let rise.

Make out into rolls and let rise again. Bake at 400 degrees for approximately 15 to 20 minutes. This recipe can be refrigerated or frozen. If refrigerated, let the cold dough rise for 3 hours before baking.

Serves 8 to 12.
