HERBED CORN ON THE COB 
4 ears corn, unhusked
1/4 c. butter, softened to room temperature
1/2 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

In small bowl blend together the butter and seasonings. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Peel but do not remove the corn husks. Remove corn silk. Spread about 1 tablespoon of butter and herb mixture on each ear of corn, then close husks around corn. Wrap in foil and bake for 30 minutes until tender.
