SMOTHERED STEAK | |
Round steak (1/2 lb. steak per person) Salt & pepper or Tony's Seasoning Flour Onion & green bell pepper, sliced Lemon, sliced Sprinkle salt and pepper (or Tony's Seasonings) on one side of steak. Cover both sides of steak with flour. Brown both sides of meat in a small amount of heated cooking oil. Pour off nearly all of the grease. Top the steak with slices of onion, green bell pepper and lemon. Add about 2/3 cup water. Put cover on skillet, lower heat and simmer until the meat is very tender (about 45 minutes or 1 hour). Add additional water if needed. Use Tony's Gravy Mix to make additional gravy. |
