STICKY QUICKIE BUNS 
1 1/2 c. flour
2 pkg. yeast
3/4 c. milk
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 3/4 c. flour

TOPPING:

3/4 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. nuts
1 tbsp. corn syrup
1 tbsp. water

Combine flour and yeast. Heat milk, butter, sugar and salt. Add to yeast mixture. Add egg. Beat on high for 3 minutes. By hand stir in 1 3/4 cup flour. Add chopped raw apples if desired. Cover and let rise 30 minutes.

While dough is rising combine the topping ingredients in a saucepan until melted. Pour into 9 x 13 inch pan. Stir down batter and drop by spoonful into topping. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool for 1 minute and cover with cookie sheet and invert.

Yield 24 buns. Recipe can be made night before and refrigerated.
