RAISIN BREAD 
1 pkg. yeast
3 tbsp. sugar
3 c. flour
3/4 c. milk
1/4 c. water
2 eggs
4 tbsp. melted butter, cooled
1/4 c. honey
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. cinnamon
2/3 c. raisins
3/4 c. nuts

Mix flour, sugar, and salt. Gradually add lukewarm milk and honey and melted butter; mix dough well (use dough hooks if available). Add the 2 eggs.

Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup water that is warm, not hot. Add to flour dough and mix well. Add raisins and nuts (soak raisins in water to soften; drain).

Place in greased bowl to rise; cover, knead and place in greased bread pan. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Makes 1 large loaf.

GLAZE:

1 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. milk
