APPLE CRISP CAKE 
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. nuts
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. grated apples

ICING
6 tbsp. melted butter
2/3 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. milk
1/2 c. coconut

Cream together eggs, oil, sugar, soda and cinnamon. Add flour, salt, nuts and vanilla and mix well. Add apples and mix well. Bake 45 to 50 minutes at 350 degrees in floured 13 x 9 pan.

ICING:

Mix ingredients and spread over cake. Place in broiler with heat on low. Broil until icing bubbles and is nicely toasted.

NOTE: This recipe is very easy to half.
