DUTCH PEA SOUP 
1 lb. split peas
1 ham bone with some meat on it
3 qts. water
Salt and pepper to taste
1 1/2 c. diced celery
3 med. onions, chopped
3 potatoes, diced
2 carrots, diced
Parsley
1 c. milk

Cook ham bone, peas and water for 2 hours. Add salt and pepper, celery, onions, potatoes, carrots. Cook 1 hour. Add parsley and milk. Cook 10 minutes.
