EVEN BETTER THAN ROBERT REDFORD
CAKE
 
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 1/2 c. flour, sifted
1 c. nuts, chopped (optional)
1 (9 oz.) Cool Whip
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
2 pkgs. any flavor instant pudding (good with pistachio, chocolate or lemon)
3 c. milk

Combine first 3 ingredients and press into 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool. Combine half of Cool Whip with next 2 ingredients; spread onto cooled crust. Mix milk and pudding; pour onto cream cheese mixture. Top with remaining Cool Whip. Additional nuts and coconut may be sprinkled on top, if desired.
