CHICKEN CHOW MEIN | |
4 lb. chicken 2 c. water 2 lg. chopped onions 2 c. celery, sliced 1/4 c. flour 1/4 c. soy sauce 1 can of bean sprouts 1 can of bamboo shoots 1 can water chestnuts 3 tbsp. molasses Place chicken with water, onions and celery in crock pot. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours. One before serving turn on high. Remove chicken form bone and cut up meat. Combine flour, soy sauce, and molasses, stir into crock pot with remaining ingredients. Stir until thick. 8-10 servings. 3 1/2 quarts. |
