CURRANT JELLY COOKIES 
3 sticks butter
1 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
3 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
Jelly

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolks and mix well. Add vanilla, flour, and salt; chill. Roll in balls the size of walnuts. Make a depression in the center of each with your thumb. Put about 1/2 teaspoon of jelly in center. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until slightly browned. Makes 50 to 60.
