GRANDMA'S AMBROSIA 
8 oranges, peeled
1/4 c. sugar
2 c. flaked coconut
1 c. pecans, coarsely chopped
Garnishes: Sweetened whipped cream, orange sections, flaked coconut

Section oranges over small bowl to catch juice; cut orange sections in half. Set juice aside. Place half of oranges in a serving bowl. Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons sugar and top with 1 cup coconut; repeat layers. Sprinkle with pecans, and pour 1/4 cup reserved juice over fruit. Cover and chill. Garnish, if desired. Yield: 8 servings.
