SALAD DRESSING 
1 lg. onion, cut in pieces
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. apple cider vinegar
2 tsp. salt, optional
1 tbsp. dry mustard
1 tbsp. Italian seasoning
1 c. salad oil (I use Canola)

Put first 6 ingredients in blender. Cover and blend until well mixed (40 seconds). Remove cap from blender lid without stopping blender and gradually add oil. Replace cap and blend until dressing is thick. Yields 2 1/2 cups.
