1/2 c. Crisco, melted
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. sour cream
3/4 c. nuts
3/4 c. cherries
3/4 c. dates

Cut up fruit and nuts, sprinkle with flour out of cup. Combine Crisco, brown sugar and egg. sift in flour, salt and soda. Mix in sour cream. Mix in fruit and nuts. Bake until brown at 325 degrees.
