IOWA BUTTERSCOTCH COOKIES | |
1 c. Crisco 1 c. brown sugar 1 c. white sugar 2 eggs, unbeaten 1 c. nuts 1 tsp. vanilla 3 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. baking powder Cream Crisco and sugars; add eggs, nuts and vanilla. Sift flour, salt, soda and baking powder together. Stir into batter and mix well. Divide batter in half and shape into 2 rolls. Refrigerate overnight. Slice in 1/4-inch slices and place on greased and floured cookie sheet. Bake at 350°F for 10 to 12 minutes. |
