FUDGE TOPPED BROWNIES 
1 c. butter, melted
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
1 c. chopped nuts
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate bits
1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand condensed milk (not evaporated)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients except bits and condensed milk. Stir in nuts. Bake in 13x9 pan about 40 minutes.

Just before brownies are done, in heavy pan over low heat, melt chocolate bits with condensed milk and 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Remove from heat and spread over hot brownies. Cool and cut into squares.
