SPICY BEAN DIP 
16 oz. can refried beans
4 oz. (1 c.) grated cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
1/2 c. taco sauce
4 oz. can chopped green chilies
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. oregano
Tortilla chips

Combine ingredients in medium pan and heat on medium high 5 to 7 minutes stirring frequently. Or microwave in 1 1/2 quart casserole dish 5 to 7 minutes on high. When done: top mixture with sour cream, chopped black olives, and chopped tomatoes if desired. Serve with tortilla chips.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
